My name is Mike Ybarra and through my 30 years of experience of plumbing I have seen my fair share of frozen pipes in the winter.

The HiRoller was born out of real-world necessity in the cold winters of Central Utah. As a lifelong animal owner, I faced the constant challenge of keeping my hoses from freezing while caring for horses and dogs year-round. Freezing temperatures made draining hoses nearly impossible, and after countless frustrating winters—often ending with hoses stored in the bathtub—I knew there had to be a better way. What started as a simple idea using a horseshoe evolved into a practical, roller-based tool that makes draining and coiling hoses fast and efficient. After building and successfully using the first HiRoller prototype for over a year, I decided to patent it and share it with others who face similar challenges.
